Any questions? We're here to help.

  • What's the weather like in Icaraizinho, Moitas, and Caetanos?

The region has two well-defined seasons: the rainy season, called winter, and summer, which lasts most of the year and is accompanied by constant wind. The temperature varies from 23 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius. Even during the rainy season, the temperature is pleasant, with no need for warm clothing.

  • How do I pack my suitcase for a trip? What should I bring?

Icaraizinho has a hot and dry climate. Ideally, bring light and casual clothing for both day and night. It's also important to bring practical bags, backpacks, or suitcases, as arriving in the city may involve changing cars and walking on the sand. There are some supermarkets in the city that offer basic items (and we mean basic), such as sunscreen, toiletries, etc. However, more specific products may not be found or may be more expensive and of lower quality, so it's best to bring them with you. Suggested items to bring: Shorts, Light shirts/T-shirts, Swimsuit, Sunscreen, Insect repellent, Flip-flops or sandals, Light pants, Long-sleeved shirts, Sunglasses a spare pair (only if needed), Hat or cap, Camera, Personal medications, Bath towel, Body moisturizers, Replacement contact lenses, and cash, as not all places accept cards.

  • Which mobile phone carrier operates in the region?

The only mobile phone operators with signal are VIVO and TIM, which also have 3G internet access. Most establishments offer free Wi-Fi, and there are 3 public access points with free Wi-Fi.

  • Do I need to bring cash? Is there an ATM?

Icaraizinho, Moitas, and Caetanos do not have ATMs, but some businesses allow cash withdrawals for an additional fee. Generally, most restaurants accept cards and PIX (Brazilian instant payment system), but always check beforehand. Tours can also be paid for with cards and PIX. Consult Cooptranstur, the local transport cooperative.
