The clear water lagoons are created exclusively by the accumulation of rainwater in the first half of the year. Their volume and extent are variable, progressively decreasing throughout the dry season in the second half of the year. Consult the driver beforehand.
THE WALK
The tour departs from the inn, covering an average of 47 km in total, lasting 3 to 4 hours. The tour includes a round trip along the beach, leaving from Icaraizinho and passing by Praia de Pedras Compridas (a beach with exposed rocks, visible at low tide), a seaside cemetery (in the village of Mucunã), and Praia de Jiqui, which includes Bica do Pote and coconut trees with exposed roots – attractive places to stop for photos.
Upon arriving at Caetanos Beach, you have several gastronomic options, and you can reserve your lunch at the place of your choice, for example, at the Palm Beach Inn and Restaurant or at Porto do Senhor Bento, where you can eat a delicious grilled fish.
